Q: I’ve never used a Recruiter/Staffing Agency. How does the process work?

You are more than just a CV, resume, or an application. That’s why we work so hard to understand your career goals—so we can help you achieve them by finding you a job that is the right fit for you. We work with top local and national companies that have openings in your area of expertise and we’re here to help you in other ways, such as improving your resume, prepping you for interviews and sharing local hiring trends.

Q: Do I have to pay for this service?

No. Creed Consulting Group services are free to jobseekers.

Q: Where are you located?

We are based in Columbia, South Carolina, but can provide you with assistance anywhere in the world and when you need it.

Q: How do I sign up with Creed Consulting Group to help with my job search?

We are highly selective in the candidates we represent. If you have an established career and are seeking growth or a change, upload your resume on our website or send us an email with your resume attached to resumes@creedstaffing.com. We’ll then contact you if your skills and experience meet the requirements of an open position or match what our clients typically look for.

Unfortunately at this time, we do not work with candidates beginning their careers. Most of our clients’ are seeking individuals with an average of 7+ years of experience with multiple certifications in a specific field of expertise.

Finding a Job

Q: I’m looking for a job. Can you help?

We work with top local and national companies that have openings in a wide area of expertise, and we’re always looking for in-demand job candidates to help staff our clients’ full-time, permanent positions. We place highly qualified candidates in the areas of accounting, finance, administrative, healthcare, hospitality, skilled manufacturing and marketing.

Q: How do I submit my resume?

Click Submit Your Resume from the Jobseekers drop down menu. Fill out the required fields, then copy and paste your resume or use your LinkedIn profile. Once you’ve submitted your resume, this serves as your confidential profile with Creed Consulting Group.

Q: I’ve submitted my resume. What happens next?

One of our experienced recruiters will contact you if your skills and experience meet the requirements of an open position or match what our clients typically look for. We receive new job requests every day, so continue to check back frequently and apply to those that match your background, credentials and interests.

Q: Do I have to take a skills assessment?

Creed Consulting Group does not currently offer skills evaluations, however clients may occasionally request potential employees to complete an evaluation following an interview.

Q: Do I have to complete a background check?

Creed Consulting Group may request that you complete a standard background check per the request of a client. This is on a case by case basis and only when requested by one of our clients. If you are requested to complete a background check, you will receive an email from ClearChecks.com. This form will need to be completed and submitted immediately to maintain your application for the client requesting the check. There is no cost associated for this check.

Q: Is the background check legal?

Creed Consulting Group utilizes a third-party service, ClearChecks.com, to complete background checks. ClearChecks is FRCA compliant. For more information please read: https://www.clearchecks.com/fcra-compliance.php

Work Eligibility and Sponsorship

Q: I am relocating and looking for work in a new city. Can you help?

Although Creed Consulting Group does not currently provide relocation services, some of our clients may offer to relocate the right candidate.

Q: Do you sponsor H-1B visas?

No, Creed Consulting Group does not sponsor H-1B visas. Please let your recruiter know upfront that you require H-1B sponsorship so that they can determine what options are available.

Payroll and Benefits

Q: Does Creed Consulting Group pay me?

Creed Consulting Group is a direct hire agency only. Once you have been retained by a client, the client will become responsible for all payroll and benefits. The exception to this is if you are a member of our referral program.

Q: Will Creed Consulting Group send a W-2?

Creed Consulting Group does not pay candidates, therefore will not remit any tax forms. If you receive any such forms you may be a recipient of fraud. Read more here.

Q: How do I submit my I-9 documents?

Creed Consulting Group does not require I-9 documentation from candidates.

Q: What is DocuSign? Is it secure?

Creed Consulting Group uses DocuSign an electronic signature system that allows you to sign any documents which might be requested by a client. DocuSign is a cloud-based service provider that offers a fast, easy and secure way to electronically sign documents. The electronic signature process also affords you the time to read through the documents at your leisure.
